PegArch Team

Matthew Pegolo AIA NCARB,  is the founder and lead architect of PegArch Architecture.  He graduated from Roger Williams University with his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Architecture.   He is a commissioner of the Portland Housing Authority, an active AIA member, and actively engages with his community via fundraisers, sponsorships, donations and local business development. 

He has designed projects all over Connecticut, ranging from single family homes, multi-residential development projects, commercial projects, and public sector work.

Jeffrey Munsie, NCARB, is a licensed architect and project manager at PegArch.  Jeff has been working in the Architectural industry for 25+ years and has a diverse professional history with experience in Architecture and Construction.  He has a passion for great design and is very detail oriented.  Jeff is creative and thorough in his work, and appreciates the assimilation of Architecture with cutting edge BIM technology.

Prior to PegArch, Jeff worked with various firms throughout Connecticut.  On his time outside the office, Jeff enjoys hiking, fly fishing and informally studying the arts, sciences and humanities.

Sarah Lafleur, Architectural Designer, has joined the PegArch team in 2020.  Sarah has completed residential and commercial projects of various sizes throughout Connecticut, and has designed, coordinated and executed projects from pre-design through construction drawings and Construction Administration.  Her education in Architecture and Construction Management compliment her work ethic and attention to detail to make her a valuable team member at PegArch. 

Prior to PegArch, Sarah worked with the design team at Electric Boat in New London.  Outside of PegArch, Sarah enjoys traveling, warm weather and concerts.

Ryan Cyr, Architectural Designer, joined the PegArch team in 2023.  He graduated from the University of Hartford with his Masters of Architecture. 

Prior to working at PegArch, Ryan received his Bachelor’s from Uconn and served in the United States Coast Guard for 5 years.  When not in the office, Ryan can be found spending time with his wife and two daughters, running, hiking or woodworking.


Tyler Spada, Architectural Intern, works at PegArch on his days off from school.  He assists with on-site field measuring and documentation of existing conditions, preliminary design layouts, and continues to build our architectural design database for potential future clients. 

Prior to PegArch, Tyler worked at Specialty Lighting Group in Portland.  When not in the office or at school, Tyler can be found enjoying time with family and friends, at car shows and swap meets, or working on his car.
